“Art has opened up a whole new dimension to life.
Using colour has brightened my life.
I’ve made many friends along the way…”

Creative Living is a dynamic programme designed to develop your visual art skills and creativity in an instructive and stimulating environment.

The focus is on your individual learning requirements, as well as those of the group. You will be encouraged to explore and experiment, and to develop new ways of thinking and perceiving through the process of making art. The tutors support you as you develop your own concepts and ideas.

You’ll work independently and choose the content and subject matter for your art works.

The tutor assists with suggestions regarding methods and techniques and is always there to offer support and encourage your artistic development.

You will discover new ways of expressing yourself, introduced to new media - whether it be painting, drawing, assemblage - and tell your own story using visual imagery.

No previous experience is necessary. We aim to meet you, and perhaps offer guidance, wherever you are on your creative and artistic journey.

The Creative Living group environment is a friendly and supportive community, a mixture of creativity and therapeutic outcomes.  We warmly welcome newcomers and you can enroll at any time during the term.
