Prakashni Prakash - My Video Song
Today is a lovely day
I am alone, my friends
I say bye
My friend gone walking
I am alone
I am staying at home
I am lonely
I cannot see my friends
They are gone
I am stuck, so stuck
I am lonely
I say to myself
I am never alone
I wish my friends were with me all the time
I stay here and they are gone away
I am lonely
My friends,
I miss you
You have not seen me in a long time
I am lonely
I am far away from friends
They cannot see me
Don’t cry
Don’t cry
I am alone
I am alone
I say to myself that I will never be lonely
Don’t worry,
I know that you, my friends, will come back soon
The world out there is so cold and I am staying at home feeling warm inside
I want to say
love you all
Hugs hugs hugs hugs.

Kay: Strong
I found the found object word 'Strong' in a dumpster at Unitec and look it in for Tuesday class. Stefan and I used it as a kind of a trigger for conversation. We talked about ways in which the people in the Mapura community have been 'strong' during the pandemic. A lot of people in the Mapura are particularly vulnerable to the virus and many have had much longer isolation periods than othersSo we asked questions like "What gives you strength? How do you deal with adversity in your life? How does it make you stronger" these videos are a couple of responses from Kay

Hi, my name is Prakashni Prakash. Here with my sign name. I'm showing you a dance in NZSL."
Blue sky...a beautiful view of the mountains, mountains, mountains. Walking past the trees, trees, trees. Admiring the view. Trees are so beautiful here and there. (twirling and dancing backwards twice) Keep on walking and walking. The blue sky up there, we all are having a beautiful view…."
