This group is based in Ōtāhuhu, although it doesn’t matter where you live, you’re most welcome to join.

Singing brings joy, both to the singer and the listener; it’s an uplifting experience.

When you join Singing South Auckland, you’ll be engaging in a therapeutic activity that can be beneficial in so many areas - physical, social and emotional, linguistic and cognitive. 

Singing brings people together - there’s nothing like singing old favourites with a group of people enjoying themselves as much as you are. You’ll learn some new songs, too.

You’ll pick up various singing techniques and experiment to develop your voice and sound, as well as collaborating with the group to create some special ‘Māpura songs’.

The Singing South Auckland is a supportive and inclusive environment. And, above all, it’s very enjoyable and lots of fun. 

Singing South Auckland is facilitated by music therapist Jenny Gordon.

It’s open to all abilities and ages.
