Congratulations to Māpura Studios artists Guy Seanyear and Craig Murray for making the top 30 finals of the IHC Art Awards This year.
Craig was also awarded Highly Commended, fantastic for a first time entry!
The judges, Elizabeth Caldwell, Mark Hutchins-Pond and Tim Walker had a difficult task in selecting this years Art Awards winners from 493 entries.

All 493 entries received in this year’s Art Awards are exhibited at the pop up gallery located at 69 Willis Street in Wellington, and available for sale with 100% of the sale proceeds going to the artist. Any artworks that don’t sell in the gallery, will be sold on Trade Me later in August 2023.
This year’s winners for First, Second, Third and the Youth Award winner will be announced after Friday 21 July 2023. The L’affare People’s Choice Award winner will be announced in August 2023.
