Circability warmly invites schools, students and their whānau and caregivers to the FREE 2023 Youth Circus Festival.
For over 10 years our kaupapa at Circability has been all ages, all abilities, all cultures, better together. This inclusive 3 day festival is for young people of all abilities, and backgrounds. The needs of students with disabilities have been carefully considered and we offer a range of platforms for everyone to safely participate.
What to Expect?
The Youth Circus Festival will include a variety of fun and exciting circus activities, shows from circus youth and our talented instructors, circus workshops ranging from beginner level to advanced, discussion forums for employment pathways in the NZ Circus Sector, as well as a sensory space for some quiet time.
The Festival is FREE for Youth and Whānau .

Make the last Day of Term a Special one!
On Friday, the festival is dedicated to schools and youth groups. Learn from the best circus performers in Aotearoa and rising stars of circus youth in a range of workshops. These workshops are all inclusive and offer skills for all circus fans from beginners to advanced. You can decide how long you wanna spend at the event! We will end the Day with a Performance from our Tutors at 7pm.
Saturday 23th September /Sunday 24th September
Those Days will be filled with more Circus Skill Workshops, discussion forums and a Youth Show on Saturday Night.

Health and Safety.
All Precautions will be taken to provide a safe space for everyone. Including but not limited to First Aiders, Safety Gear for risk based activities and police vetted tutors.
Please provide your own Caretakers for the attending Youth, depending on their needs.
