This auction starts at 6pm on Monday 28 August, and will start with the auction of artworks by seven renowned NZ artists including a piece by David Shrigley which will be blind auctioned. This piece hasn’t been unwrapped so the bidders have no idea what the item is inside. The proceeds from this part of the auction will go towards the IHC Art Awards. The three IHC Art Awards artworks will be auctioned lastly with 100% of the auction proceeds going to the artist.

Pictured below is Māpura Studios artist Kerry Deane’s Egyptian Mystery which is one of the three Artworks selected to be auctioned.
